Tratado do Espaço Cósmico

Todas as nações que detêm tecnologia espacial já captaram objetos estranhos controlados e mais avançados orbitando próximo aos seus engenhos. Em muitos casos foram obtidos filmes, fotos e leituras através de sensores. Astronautas de diversos países já testemunharam objetos desconhecidos não identificados. 

Agora imagine arquéologos do terceiro milênio ao descobrirem uma caixa lacrada por alguém há pelo menos mil anos. O que você escolheria colocar ali dentro? Qual a seria a sua mensagem para o futuro? O que pinçaria do presente para representar o legado contemporâneo? 

Inspirado por experiências espaciais que sempre me fascinaram e pela canção “Song for a future generation” (do grupo The B-52’s), propus a cada um dos generosos participantes desta edição do projeto COLORS Notebook um registro antropológico apresentando às gerações futuras quem somos, como vivemos, quais são os nossos sonhos, verdades, valores, alegrias, idéias, medos e expectativas.

Como “Estado-Parte” do Tratado que lança esta revista como objeto espacial em órbita da Terra, ou mais além, no espaço sideral, desejo que esta obra, quando encontrada no futuro, seja reveladora, inspiradora e que sirva de referência para futuras gerações.

Cosmic Space Treaty

All nations with spatial technology have already captured more advanced and controlled strange objects

gravitating next to their home bases. In most of the cases video shootings, photos and readings have been obtained through sensors. Astronauts from several countries have already testified non-identified flying objects.

Now imagine that in the third millennium some archeologists discover a box sealed by someone at least a thousand years ago. What would you select to put inside it? What would be your message for the future? What would you take from the present to represent the contemporary legacy? 

Inspired by spatial experiences that have always fascinated me and by the “Song for a future generation” (from the band The B-52´s) , I have proposed to each of the generous participants of this edition of the COLORS Notebook project an anthropological register, so that the future generations might know about our dreams, truths, values, joys, ideas, fears and expectations. 

As “State-Part” of the Treaty that is launching this issue as a spatial object gravitating around the earth, or even beyond, in the sidereal space, I wish that when this work is found in the future, it might be revealing and inspiring and that it might be used as reference for the future generations.
